Vision and Mission Statements
Vision: Through continuous cooperation, collaboration and camaraderie, Marion Oaks Elementary School’s students will become independent learners in an ever-changing, global society.
Mission: Creating independent, lifelong learners that feel safe and inspired.
We are one school, one team making a difference.
We will continue to create an inclusive learning environment which is centered around students, guided by teachers, and supported by home and community.
Student Supervision
General student supervision begins at 7:20 a.m. and ends at 2:35 p.m. Students who are not bus riders should not be at the school before this time.
Parents are expected to secure any other arrangements necessary due to individual circumstances. There is no supervisory duty before 7:20 or after dismissal and the school can not be held responsible for your child during that time period.
Students who are repeatedly picked up late will be placed in the extended day program. After one incident, the parent is responsible for paying the expense for the after school care.
Visitors on Campus
Visitors are welcome at Marion Oaks Elementary School. For the safety of our students, all visitors MUST report to the front office to sign in using appropriate identification (driver’s license or state id), and then visibly wear a visitor’s pass. Visitors should never go directly to a classroom.
