Student Supervision:
General student supervision begins at 7:20 a.m. and ends at 2:35 p.m. Students who are not bus riders should not be left at school before this time. Parents are expected to secure any other arrangements necessary due to individual circumstances.
There is no supervisory duty before 7:20 or after dismissal and the school cannot be held responsible for your child during that time period. Students who are repeatedly picked up late will be placed in the extended day program. After one incident, the parent is responsible for paying the expense for the after school care.
Class Size:
In keeping with the State of Florida classroom reduction requirements Marion Oaks has a 1:18 ratio in grades K-3, and a 1:22 ratio in grades 4-5.
Cafeteria:
Breakfast is served each morning in the cafeteria. All elementary students may eat breakfast and lunch FREE.
